APPEARANCE OF THE BROWN BEAR
 

On the morning of April 21, 2021, LD Boč na Kozjak was informed of a possible sighting of a brown bear within the hunting ground, in the area of Spodnje Boč. Upon arrival at the site, the hunters confirmed the presence of bear tracks in close proximity to the residential building at Spodnji Boč 3. Although the age of the tracks could not be determined, it was concluded that they were relatively fresh. While tracking the bear's movement, it was established that it had passed through the forest and caused damage to an automatic feeder filled with corn near the residential building at Veliki Boč 13. Its subsequent direction of movement remains unknown.

We advise caution when moving through the forest, be alert to any signs of the bear's presence, and immediately inform the hunting family or contact the emergency numbers 112 or 113.
