MEETING THE LENART TWIN HUNTING FAMILY

A meeting of hunters takes place in several ways. One of the important meetings of the hunters is with the LD Lenart hunters. Mutual cooperation takes place primarily through the implementation of joint hunts. LD Lenart organizes an annual traditional mallard duck hunt, and in our family we organize a joint big game hunt for them.

LGB KOZJAK COMPETITION

In our environment, it still remained a part of the old organization of hunting. Not because we were against new things, but simply because of the old habit of our neighboring hunting families gathering for various meetings, hunts and planning shooting together. This is how the traditional meeting and mutual cooperation between LD Vurmat, LD Gaj nad Maribor and LD Boč na Kozjak takes place. Every year, a shooting competition is also held in this sense. Every year, one of the three LDs also organizes a hunting exhibition. This kind of meeting of hunters has become traditional.

COMPETITIONS WITHIN THE MARIBOR REGIONAL HUNTING ASSOCIATION

Every year, LZ Maribor organizes a meeting of hunters in different ways. One of these is in various competitions in which members of our LD participate. These are shooting matches, fishing competitions, hunting goulash cooking competitions and the like. Competitions give expression to socializing and the meeting of hunters always brings some progress in mutual cooperation.

MEETING OF HUNTERS, FARMERS, LAND AND FOREST OWNERS

The hunting family traditionally invites all farmers, owners of land and forest areas to an annual meeting in the hunting lodge. While preparing an entertaining, cultural or educational program, arrangements are also made for mutual socializing and meetings between hunters and farmers. The game that we manage as hunters graze on your land and ours. The leader of the activity is the LD elder every year. Discussions are held on various issues, but mainly on damages. Damage to game is a pressing problem not only in ours but also in other LDs.

COLLABORATION WITH PRIMARY SCHOOL SELNICA OB DRAVA

LD cooperates with Elementary School Selnica ob Drava on various occasions. He presents part of his activity to elementary school students. The students are introduced to game, LD, the work of hunters and everything related to hunting. During the hunting visit, the students are given the opportunity to familiarize themselves with hunting literature, and they also receive some of it when they visit the hunting stand.
